OUR PATRONS
Lady
Elizabeth Ashcombe
Lady Elizabeth Ashcombe was the first
patron of the Trust. Her home Sudeley Castle was known as
the residence of Queen Katherine Parr following her marriage
to Sir Thomas Seymour after the death of Henry VIII. The Trust
had an office on the Sudeley estate during the first year
of its development.
Ervin
Laszlo, Ph.D.
Ervin Laszlo, holder of the highest
degree of the Sorbonne (the State Doctorate), is recipient
of four Honorary Ph.D.s and numerous awards and distinctions,
including the 2001 Goi Award (the Japan Peace Prize) and a
nomination for the 2004 Nobel Peace Prize. He is a former
professor of philosophy, systems theory, and futures studies
in the U.S., Europe, and the Far East and founder and president
of the international think-tank The Club of Budapest as well
as of the General Evolution Research Group. The author of
more than 70 books, translated into 20 languages, he lives
in Italy.

K. Gangadean, Ph.D.
Ashok Gangadean is Professor of Global Philosophy at Haverford
University. He is Co-Convenor of the World Commision on Global
Consciousness, Founder-Director of the Global Dialogue Institute,
Co-Chair of the World Wisdom Council and a regular television
host
Isabel
Hawkins, Ph.D.
As Research Astronomer and Senior
Fellow in Science Education, Isabel Hawkins is Director
of the Center for Science Education at the UC Berkeley Space
Sciences Laboratory (SSL). Dr. Hawkins is principal investigator
of several national education initiatives, including NASA
Office of Space Science's Sun-Earth Connection Education
Forum (in collaboration with Goddard Space Flight Center),
and Project FIRST (Fostering Reading Through Science and
Technology) funded by Calspace.
